A $500.00 scholarship award given to the player who is the heartbeat of the team. The one who shows up, lifts others up, and leads with authenticity and heart. His passion and dedication make everyone around him feel seen, valued, and inspired.
Nominee must be a graduating senior.
Nominee must be a 4-year member of the football program.
Nominee does not have to be a starter.
Nominee must be furthering his education (college, junior college, trade school).
Nominee does not have to be playing college football.
The head coach nominates a player by writing a nomination letter that explains:
What the player has done to deserve this award (based on the above criteria).
What the player means to the team.
A selection committee will read each nomination letter and select an award winner. The winner will be announced at the All-County banquet at the end of the season.
